Holiday Greetings from our families to yours.

Christmas eve started at 1 AM for me and my team of dedicated employees trying to fill the shelves for our beloved guests. The time I walked off the floor at about 11 AM, I was satisfied at the amount of effort, dedication and passion put in place to ensure our guests found the last minute gift they were looking for. Now, off to the family gathering.
I wasn’t sure as to what the plan would be. At first, I thought we should gather at my place but things change in this universe. The next thing I know, I was hauling the family down I-5 heading to Vancouver, Washington. The kids were wondering where the heck am I taking the family but in no time they found me explaining what the trip entails.
Well, I had to explain it. It’s this time of year, where families gather, flying in from all over the globe to celebrate the season. It’s the time of year that Christians prep their souls and heart for the birth of Jesus. It’s the time of year where islanders drown themselves in Sakau and Faluba. Wakakakakz. I think I left the last one out. Hehehe. It’s the most Joyous time of the year. We Celebrate the old and the new! Bye 2013 and Enno 2014!
My youngest boy was not happy at all about the choice I made but I told him that one day he would understand. I told him family is the foundation of our very existence and we should embrace it by coming together in celebrating the old and welcoming the new :).
We made our way into Vancouver right about 5 pm, in time for the Oregon State Beavers and Boise State Bowl in Hawaii. I wasn’t really into watching the game as I was so busy trying to figure out where I would get us food to celebrate the season as most stores close their doors at 6 pm, the grocery stores anyways.
Got a Turkey and a ham – I am ready for tomorrow. Hehehe. It would be much better if I found fish to go along with it but there is really no time for that. And if I remembered it right, someone had told me before that the food is not as important as the gathering of people that love each other. So I guess, that is good enough.
As Christmas eve progresses, I found myself celebrating with the Beaver family as they got a pretty good win over Boise State to end the season. Mahalo Beavs!
And to my surprise, the Marriott staff prep some food to celebrate Christmas Eve. The staff was just awesome and cheerful. I got some Mexican food and lots of water.
Now, it’s time to get back to sleep so I can get up early to cook the Turkey and Ham.
I hope you and your family got a wonderful Christmas and wishing you the very best this coming new year. Adios from Vancouver, Washington.
