the Honor is Ours

It was an honor to meet Father Jesse T. Reyes and to participate in the mass and to listen and learn from him and the Marianas communities. It was a great feeling to be there amongst the brothers and sisters from the Marianas.

It brought back memories of when I was still on Guam and felt very much connected with these communities. I am sure everyone of us in that crowd felt the same way. And why not, we are all sons and daughters of God.

As a member of the St. Vincent De Paul parish, I cannot hide my joy and happiness to host such a beautiful ceremony and to join my Marianas brothers and sisters in the Eucharist. It was a humbling experience.

I cannot thank the Marianas communities enough for doing what they did. It was awesome to see and to experience it.

Wife and I with our Pastor, Father Frank and Father Jesse T. Reyes of the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa, Saipan.

As Father Frank said in his opening remarks, I too hope this is the beginning of something our parish can do, bringing in priests from different cultures so we can celebrate mass together.

This is too important not to have a video presentation of it. And as you can see, I took out my best friend and start recording. I was thinking of the young folks. It would be awesome if they can hear the sounds and see it in Chamorro and Carolinian.

It was a pleasure to finally meet my friend and an awesome community leader, Roz. You are amazing.

God bless our Marianas communities and our St. Vincent De Paul parish.
